It’s amazing what we can do when we come together.
Ten years ago, when Rotary first began to work with the people of Mufakose, we had a small vision. But when we talked with the community members in 2007 about expanding our work, they presented their vision: creating “heaven on earth” in their communities. They became the trainers, mentors and often the innovators. Over time, they have claimed this project as their own. The local government has recognized its impact and has joined with the community in supporting it and recommending new enhancements. Rotary is proud to be a partner in this transformation.
